What happens after application: The Department of Veterans Affairs will send a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to the veteran after the benefit has been approved. The COE will need to be provided to the Financial Aid Office so the School Certifying Official (SCO) can submit enrollment certification to VA.
Veterans will need to notify the SCO of any enrollment changes that are made each semester. Failure to do so may delay or cause overpayment of benefits.
