The Medical Reimbursement Certificate program at Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science (GSC) is designed to prepare students for an entry-level career in the medical revenue cycle industry as medical billers and coders.
The Medical Reimbursement Certificate (MRC) prepares students for the following:

Upon successful completion of the Medical Reimbursement Certificate program, students may sit for the national Certified Professional Coder examination by the American Academy of Professional Coders to earn the CPC credential as an apprentice (CPC-A). The AAPC requires individuals with the CPC-A credential to demonstrate on-the- job coding experience in order to remove the apprentice designation and use the credential CPC.
